COLORFUL RAJASTHAN
I love India and its vast travel options. I like to divide my travel state wise and prepare myself to embrace what each state has to offer to me.
No exaggeration here but the colors of Rajasthan is a must experience phenomenon. Yes, it’s vast vivid and beautiful. Rajasthan Tourism is one of the most famous options for travelers.
STATE INTRODUCTION: RAJASTHAN
Rajasthan lies in the North-Western side of India. It is bordered by five states as Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana, UP, MP on each side. Hence the local dialects and cultures also get inspired from the linked states. It also has a border with Pakistan on one side.
The Thar Desert or Great Indian Desert covers most of the landscapes. The road trip is one of the best option to explore various cities here. The destinations are linked by various beautiful Aravali Hills and desert specific farms. One can notice people from various village still walking on the interior of the roads with their sheep and goat herds.
SHADES OF BROWN
The terrain is mostly in shades of brown as Aravali hills and the Thar Desert makes most of the landscape making the terrain unique. There’s a common saying there “dharati dhora ri” in local dialect which means “land of sand dunes”!! Due to such brown shades, the locals wear the most colorful dresses.
ROYAL PAST
This state has huge historic past of Kings Queens and Rulers hence this state has one of the maximum forts and palaces to offer. The Rajput Clan which still lives with royal lifestyle and the word Rajasthan literally means Kings-Abode.
VARIOUS CITIES
Its capital city is the Pink city Jaipur, with various other cities the most prominent tourist destinations are Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer, Udaipur, Bikaner, Kota, and Pushkar.
Rajasthan also hosts shrine of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer called as Ajmer Sharif.

RAJASTHAN IS FAMOUS FOR ITS FOOD
Rajasthani Cuisine is famous around the world. The most famous option is Daal- Bati- Choorma. But there are many other spicy and deep-fried snacks one can get here like nowhere else. The Bhujiaya is a deep-fried snack famous from Bikaner. The Kachori us famous from Jaipur. The Mirchibada from Jodhpur. People here have sweet tooth and the sweets options here are unparalleled. From Alwar-ka-Mawa to Jaipur ka Ghewar, Malpua of Pushkar and Jalebi the options are unlimited.
The flour here from millet gives rise to unique bread called as Bajre and Makke ki Roti.
UNPARALLELED CULTURE
Culturally the state is unparalleled with various folk dance and music forms as the cities changes. Most famous dance form being the Ghoomar and song Padharo Mhare Des.
One must indulge in as much live dance and music as one can while visiting this state.
